Digilant Solutions is started by Sunil Nikhar, an entrepreneur and technocrat with over 25 years of experience in starting and scaling businesses. Sunil is a founder and President of Pyxis Systems Private Limited, Pune. Pyxis was founded in 2005 and provided IT solutions and services to Investment Banks and Global Banks in the Front office, Mid-office and Market Risk. The IT Services business of Pyxis was acquired by Polaris Financial Technology in October 2012.

Earlier, Sunil founded ‘Ascent Computing Group, Inc’ in New York, USA. Sunil was instrumental in providing Ascent the strategic directions that enabled Ascent to Get into the Inc 500 list (published by Ernst & Young) and Fast 500 lists (published by Deloitte and Touche). Ascent was also ranked in si100 (Silicon India 100) list for the year 2000, 2001 and 2002. Under Sunil’s leadership, Ascent delivered several projects for Cisco, IBM, America Online, Deutsche Bank etc. Ascent was acquired by Chinadotcom in 2003 (NASDAQ: CHINA).
 
Before starting Ascent, Sunil worked with several reputed companies such as IBM Corporation, Matsushita, Sony, TransAmerica, Glaxo Pharmaceuticals etc. in various technology and management roles.
 
Sunil was selected as a finalist for ‘Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award’ in the year 2000 and 2002 from Southwest Connecticut and New York Hudson Valley.
 
Sunil holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India. Sunil also has an MBA (PGDM) from the IIM, Ahmedabad, India.
